Bitcoin’s rapid evolution continues to reshape the financial and political landscape as it crosses the $100,000 mark.

Roundtable anchor Rob Nelson explored this transformative journey alongside Brandon Green, Chief of Staff at BTC Inc. The discussion highlighted bitcoin's growth from niche technology to a global financial asset, examining its adoption by individuals, corporations, and governments alike.

Green reflected on his own journey within the bitcoin ecosystem, saying, "I started here stacking magazines and cleaning out closets as an intern, and now our company is helping advise the president of the United States on its bitcoin policy." He emphasized the meteoric rise of bitcoin over just seven years, stating, "It’s been a wild ride, but it also feels like we’re really just getting started."

Nelson noted the increasing mainstream attention on bitcoin, observing, "A whole lot of people are, for the first time, really paying attention to this space." He pointed to signs of adoption at all levels, from individuals asking if they should own bitcoin to companies integrating it into their balance sheets and governments contemplating bitcoin reserves.

Green compared bitcoin's trajectory to the early adoption of other transformative technologies, though he asserted, "It is truly in a class of its own." He highlighted the role of pioneers like MicroStrategy, saying, "They have really started to lay the groundwork to allow any company to lean into the bitcoin experiment."

The political realm has also experienced a shift. Green remarked, "A couple of years ago, there were a few senators and congressmen willing to be pro-bitcoin. Then you had President Trump come out in support, and it’s opened the floodgates to massive political backing."

From financial institutions to governments, Green described bitcoin as having reached a "crossing the chasm" moment. "This is the trend we’re seeing: Top players in every market segment leaning into bitcoin in an authentic and heavy way," he concluded, signaling the dawn of a new era for the digital asset.
