Maggiano’s Little Italy appoints new marketing head

Brinker International has announced the appointment of Mike Wesley as vice-president of marketing for Maggiano's Little Italy, which has 52 US locations.

Wesley's role will be central in driving key marketing and promotional strategies to amplify Maggiano's brand.

Mike Wesley brings more than a decade of experience from his tenure at Yum! Brands, where he served as vice-president of brand marketing for KFC US.

His expertise in strategising national initiatives and fostering menu and brand innovations is expected to contribute to enhancing Maggiano's market position.

Prior to his stint in the foodservice industry, Wesley honed his branding skills at Procter & Gamble, leading strategies across the North America Oral Health and Global Home Care categories.

Maggiano's Little Italy president and Brinker International senior vice-president Dominique Bertolone stated: "We couldn't be more pleased to welcome Mike to Maggiano's and know his experience will provide valuable insights to guide the brand toward new heights of growth and success as we craft this next chapter of the Maggiano's story.

Wesley's appointment follows a series of leadership enhancements at Maggiano's, including 2023's appointment of Dominique Bertolone as president and the more recent addition of chef Anthony Amoroso as vice-president of innovation and growth.

Brinker International, founded in 1975 in Dallas, Texas, is a global casual dining company, home to Chili's Grill & Bar, Maggiano's Little Italy and virtual brand It's Just Wings. It has more than 1,600 restaurants in 30 countries and two US territories.
