Penguin Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: PENG ) shares are trading higher in the premarket session on Friday .
On Thursday, the company revealed a strategic collaboration with SK Telecom and SK hynix. The partnership, signed during CES 2025 in Las Vegas, focuses on developing AI data center solutions.
The companies plan to leverage their combined strengths to enhance research, development, and market efforts in AI-computing technologies.
This collaboration comes after SKT’s recent $200 million strategic investment in Penguin Solutions and highlights the growing importance of AI infrastructure across various industries.

With SKT’s AI infrastructure management software, these technologies will simplify installation, deployment, and optimization of AI systems, providing end-to-end management.
Additionally, SK hynix and SMART Modular Technologies, a Penguin Solutions brand, will collaborate on developing innovative memory solutions to improve efficiency and performance in accelerated computing environments.
The partnership aims to address challenges in AI data centers, particularly around power efficiency and heat dissipation.
Price Action: PENG shares are trading higher by 12.1% to $21.44 premarket at last check Friday.
